The lounge-bar decorated with master portraits, velvet armchairs and refined sculptures has an intimate boudoir-like atmosphere. We instantly felt like a princess in her private mansion!
The beautiful books of the library immediately caught our eyes. We could almost feel the spirits of the great French philosophers of the age of Enlightenment upon us as we took time to read and relax in the sumptuous velvet sofa!
Our favorite room is the Grande Suite du Maine. Its golden wallpaper, deep burgundy bed and ancient portraits make us travel back in time…. The intimate and luxurious feel gave us the impression of entering royal apartments. We could not help but twirl with curtsey in our smocked dress!
